Short-term: Spend one to two years developing a diverse line of profitable products while ingfirmly establish our unique brand of customer service.
Medium-term: Complete the transition from a products-focused to a service-oriented operation model.
Long-term: Seize all competitive edges and become a PRC mobile phone market leader.
The company expects to become a major domestic mobile supplier three years after its establishment - that is, as of 2006 year-end.
We intend to continue shaping our core competitive capabilities through:
- Designing economically-priced, feature-rich mobile phones that can compete in the PRC marketplace against higher-end models manufactured by the international mobile phone giants; and
- Maintaining lowest-cost manufacturing capabilities and achieving optimum market penetration within China through our sales and distribution relationships with our two strategic partners: CEC Cellular Limited and Beijing Huanyitong Technology & Trading Co., Ltd..
Orsus Xelent's Operating Strategy:
- Set up a professional industrial designing center to develop products favored by Chinese customers.
- Form a partnership with an additional OEM plant, similar in capacity to those plants producing for such global companies as Motorola, Nokia or Ericsson. This relationship will help us to significantly increase production and maintain high product quality while lowering costs.
- Set up a specialized plant for moulds production, which would help guarantee mould quality while allowing product flexibility to suit market demands.
