Orsus Xelent Technologies is a Beijing-based supplier of economically priced, feature-rich mobile phones for the Asian market, including GSM/GPRS, PDA and CDMA, under its two famous brand names, Orsus and Proxlink . The company's business comprises the design and manufacture of mobile phones and digital circuits, the software development, R&D and design of mobile phone integration technology, as well as mobile phone quality control and project management.
Since its establishment in 2003, the company has grown rapidly in connection with its success in analyzing the mobile phone industry's competitive landscape and market trends and its adoption of cutting-edge handset technologies. In 2005, Orsus became a public company listed on the OTCBB in the USA and, in May 2007, its common stock was approved for trading on the AMEX under the ticker symbol ORS. Strictly in line with the guidelines and requirements of the AMEX, the company believes it can serve both investors and customers professionally and rewardingly.
Currently, the company has engaged four strategic partners in achieving its optimum market penetration: Dalian Daxian Group provides low-cost manufacturing capacity as well as extensive sales and distribution networks; Beijing Huanyitong Technology & Trading Co., Ltd. provides provincial and national sales distributors and dealers with considerable experience in sales of cellular phone products; Shanghai Yuede and Beijing Enxiang most recently became the company's application software development partners.
Focused on its long-term development, the company continues to build a sustainable and sound management team, optimize its sales networks, as well as expand its unparalleled after-sale service. Currently, the company is focused on the implementation of 3G mobile technologies in China and has negotiated with many 3G design companies to prepare samples for testing by China Mobile. Additionally, the company is planning to join the TDS-CDMA Industry League, and is working toward obtaining 3G cellular phone manufacturing licenses from the PRC government in 2007.
